Diamond Healthcare in Williamsburg Virginia has an opening for a Director of Revenue Cycle Client Services.

The Director of Revenue Cycle Client Services works under the direction of the Vice President of Revenue Cycle. Responsible for delivering high quality revenue cycle client support and consulting services for behavioral health service locations. Responsible to analyze and recommend revenue cycle workflows to align revenue cycle activities, both operationally and technically, to promote integration across all business units. The individual must have a strong background in all aspects of revenue cycle activities, with prior hands on experience and understanding of revenue cycle operations in patient access, insurance eligibility and benefit verification, prior authorization, utilization review, managed care contracting, and billing and collection operations. Ability to perform complex data analysis, and produce written reports, graphic and visual presentations. Frequent travel necessary.

Requirements/Qualifications

Position requirements:

  • Participates in consulting engagements and client support items as assigned
  • Conducts client interviews and meetings to understand current state systems, processes, and work flows to identify challenges and opportunities in the revenue cycle
  • Performs data analysis of confidential and complex data sets, and performs root cause analysis
  • Ability to translate data into written reports, graphic and visual presentations
  • Develops process-driven workflow recommendations for customer engagements which include specific implementation/support engagements
  • Presents findings and recommendations based on the evaluation of the design and operating effectiveness of current revenue cycle processes
  • Demonstrates ability to develop and maintain collaborative, value-added relationships with client executives
  • Effectively able to manage multiple engagements and large projects simultaneously
  • Participates in business office activities as assigned

Education: Bachelors Degree preferred. Related work experience may be substituted for formal education. 5-7 years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle preferred.
